At the heart of The Development Edge is Ann B., SPHR—a strategic HR leader, coach, and facilitator with nearly two decades of experience transforming organizations through people-centered solutions. With a background spanning banking, financial services, non-profits, and high-growth businesses, Ann is known for her ability to design and deliver impactful strategies that elevate talent, culture, and business results.
Ann holds a Master’s in Human Resource Development with a specialization in instructional design, and brings deep expertise across the full spectrum of HR—workforce planning, total rewards, DEI, talent and performance management, compliance, and change leadership. Her work has helped organizations attract top talent, navigate mergers and integrations, and build inclusive, high-performing cultures. She is also a certified coach and frequent contributor to industry panels and publications.
Ann believes thriving organizations are built at the intersection of people, purpose, and performance—an ethos reflected in her chapter Take Care of the Ecosystem in the book You @Work. She brings this perspective to every engagement, helping leaders and HR teams design systems where both people and businesses grow.
